September 2018 Faves

Hi Everyone!

Here are this month’s favourites!!

Two new fave brow products of mine! The Diorshow Bold Brow in 002 Dark and Benefit’s Precisely, My Brow in 6. The brow mascara keeps my brows in place perfectly. Although you can feel that you have product in them, they don’t feel crunchy. I’ve tried an Estée Lauder Brow mascara and that made my brows feel crunchy.

The brow pencil easily fills in my brows for a natural look. The Benefit brow pencil might just replace my fave, the NYX Micro Brow Pencil! It looks more natural than the NYX micro brow…maybe I need to go down a shade in the micro brow because sometimes it can look a bit too dark. The darkest shade for Benefit is lighter than the darkest NYX shade.

I love this OPI nail polish in Step Right Up! It’s a beautiful light pink shade that is perfect for a bride or bridesmaid. I chose it for my sister’s wedding and it’s such a beautiful sheer pink.

This Clinique Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel has been a really good salicylic acid spot treatment. When you apply it, it does make the area feel a bit stiff because it’s working it’s magic to dry out the pimple. I used it at night and the next morning the blemish had gone from bumpy to flat. It was still a bit red, but that’s easier to cover up with makeup. I’ve used several Clinique products from the Acne Solutions line, and they’ve all worked well; none have irritated my skin. I use it on my chin a lot because I get hormonal acne. My chin does look a bit red the next day, but it’s not itchy like when I use benzoyl peroxide.

This Pixi Glow-y Powder in Santorini Sunset is beautiful!! I love a champagne highlighter shade.

I saw these Keebler FlipSides Original Crackers when I was grocery shopping and thought I’d give it a try. They’re pretzel on one side and cracker on the other. It’s flaky like a cracker, but it tastes like a pretzel. I think I like them better than pretzels because they aren’t as hard.
